Hi! I am a Ph.D. student in Statistics at the University of Michigan, advised by Professor Saptarshi Chakraborty. My primary research interests lie at the intersection of deep learning and statistics, and more broadly in ideas that connect the two fields.

Before joining Michigan, I received my M.S. in Statistics from Seoul National University, where I was advised by Professor Sungkyu Jung. I also earned my B.S. from Seoul National University. Prior to my master’s studies, I worked for one year as a junior economist at the Bank of Korea.
